(06-13-2012): Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman - TLC Graduation Guest Speaker The Learning Clinic in Brooklyn, CT welcomed Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman as the graduation speaker at their 2012 ceremony held on June 13. She referred to The Learning Clinic before as "a hidden gem in Northeastern Connecticut" and encouraged students to overcome their challenges to achieve success.

(06-06-2012): Senator Don Williams Visit

Senator Don Williams was invited to visit The Learning Clinic in Brooklyn to meet students and staff. The senator toured the campus, visited students and asked questions about students work and school activities. Teacher Robin Blomberg commented on her literature class and their reading about the Endeavor Expedition, a topic known to the Senator. Students reported that they were excited to have a state senator speak with them. Students prepared for the visit by studying the Senator's record on legislation for the benefit of children and the environment.
